Karina Savage from Smartbite Nutrition Consulting

Smartbite Nutrition Consulting was established by Karina in 2007 to fill a niche need -supporting parents to manage tricky paediatric gut conditions such as food intolerances, food allergies, IBS (FODMAP), infant colic, constipation and Coeliac Disease. Karina’s passion for the gut has led her to become an Australian leader in the field. She is renowned for her knowledge in paediatric gut disorders and nutrition and regularly presents on this topic, together with providing expert comment to media.

Kelly Martin

Kelly Martin is a baby whisperer and potentially your new best friend. A certified and experienced infant and child sleep consultant, she helps parents optimise their little one’s sleep patterns by working with families on a one-on-one basis as well as running informative and supportive group workshops.

After experiencing her own struggles with the sleep of her second child and receiving firsthand the benefits of working with a sleep consultant, Kelly was inspired to change careers. Now, having worked with over 1,000 families with children aged birth to four years, Kelly is committed to helping parents learn the skills they need to assist their children develop healthy sleep habits.

Physiotherapist + Group Instructor

at Ivory Rose Physiotherapy

After graduating from Physiotherapy with First Class Honours in 2011, Hazel began working extensively with elite female athletes. It was in this time, Hazel discovered a love for helping women achieve their health and exercise goals. With extensive Pilates training and experience under her belt, Hazel is passionate about teaching women to better understand how their bodies work.

With an approachable and kind nature, Hazel takes time to get to know each and every client. She has lots of experience in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions, but her specialist knowledge lies in treating pregnancy pelvic girdle pain, abdominal muscle separation, pelvic floor rehabilitation, postnatal checks, prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, mastitis and more.

She will be a great asset in providing new mums some great ideas on how to support their postnatal physical healing and rehabilitation.

Dr. Kaitlin Harkess is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Senior Yoga Instructor

Dr. Kaitlin Harkess is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Senior Yoga Instructor who is passionate about supporting individuals to cultivate healthful and meaningful lives. Kaitlin is particularly interested in integrative psychology approaches to wellbeing and actually completed PhD research exploring the practice of yoga as a tool to support individuals experiencing chronic stress and symptoms of anxiety and depression.

 

Kaitlin is passionate about making tools for psychological wellbeing accessible. As part of this effort she hosts the weekly Wisdom for Wellbeing podcast [link: wisdomforwellbeingpodcast.com] and runs a boutique private psychology practice in Adelaide, Embodied Psychology Australia.

Karyn Hindle from Head 2 Toe First Aid

The mission of Head2toe First Aid is to empower people by providing first aid training that is flexible, fun and relevant. Karyn has over 15 years experience as a registered nurse and runs family first aid for new mums, dads and even children. Her philosophy is  that people learn best in a relaxed environment where questions are encouraged and hands on skills are practiced. Karyn tailors her first aid talks specifically to the needs of the Bump & Beyond groups she is presenting to.

Kelly Wilson

from Baby Sensory South Australia to talk about baby brain development

Baby Sensory offers unique sensory-based developmental classes from birth to 13 months to aid brain development in the first year of life. The programme was created by an expert in child development, Dr. Lin Day and classes are high quality with all the little details thought of. Classes are different every single week and are a fantastic way to meet other Families, learn more about your baby's development and have a truly magical experience with your baby. Kelly has been running classes for 6 years after taking her own baby to classes and has a true passion for babies and their development. She has completed a number of courses regarding baby and child development and has a great knowledge base around sensory input and brain development. Classes run all over Adelaide and has a follow on programme too called Toddler Sense which goes up to 4 years.

Amanda Owens Founder + Principal Clinical Psychologist at Mindful Pathways

Amber Owen is a Clinical Psychologist based in Adelaide.

She has a passion for empowering women to experience calm, joy, and mindfulness throughout their motherhood journey from conception to birth and beyond.

Amber has experience working with women having difficulties adjusting to motherhood, and previously ran Postnatal Adjustment groups whilst working for the National Health Service in London. She facilitates Perinatal Wellbeing sessions and one-on-one psychological treatment for mothers in Adelaide.
